Two weeks after my son was born in 2007, I found myself in a hospital for four days with a serious heart problem. The fact is, I had let my health go to the extent that my body gave out. It was a major wakeup call. That experience opened a new door of awareness for me. I came to realize that if I wanted something different, I needed to do something different. If I wanted something better, I needed to do it better. We’re living at one of the most exciting times in history and I believe you can have freedom on your terms. You can have it all, if you’re willing to take the necessary steps. It’s not easy. I’ve certainly made my share of mistakes and I want to help you avoid those on your own journey. This show was born as part of my process and was inspired by Joe Polish, Genius Network, and many mentors I’m fortunate to call friends. It doesn’t matter what your background is or where you’ve been: It only matters that you want to grow. Whatever your definition of success, I will challenge, guide, and connect you to some of the best leaders and experts in the world today. Now is your time - you deserve it! What would happen in your life, business, and relationships if you could be your most productive self?

Imagine it - every interaction, every transaction, and every conversation filled with the very best you have to give. No distractions. No divided attention. No half-hearted measures. The goal of today’s conversation is to give you some tools to help you eliminate the distractions that each of us face on a day to day basis. Today’s guest, Dr. Cristy Lopez, visited me in studio to share the tools that enable you to keep things simple, make better life choices, and maintain powerful focus. It’s all on this episode of Growth to Freedom.

Do you know the difference between being busy and being productive?

Most people don’t. Being busy can give you the feeling that you are being productive but it’s really an illusion. It’s often the case that busy people are spinning their wheels, not really getting anywhere.

Dr. Cristy Lopez is an expert in helping people recognize the patterns and habits that hold them back from maximizing their productivity in life, relationships, and business - and on this episode she shares the first steps toward recapturing your productive spark.

One of the first things you’ve got to determine is how you are going to deal with interruptions. Notice I didn’t say, “How you’re going to avoid interruptions,” because that’s not possible. You will always have people knocking on your door, calling you, emailing, interrupting - but what are you going to do to minimize the impact those inevitable interruptions have on your productivity?

Dr. Lopez says that it takes anywhere from 20 to 25 minutes for the average person to get back into a state of true productivity once they’ve been interrupted. That means it’s crucial that you know how to quickly deal with the distractions that come your way and get back into your productive state sooner.

And productivity is not just about business, it’s also needed in relationships.

When you are with your spouse or children, is your mind wandering or focused on things other than the precious time you have together in that moment? Don’t underestimate the importance of those relationships.. Dr. Lopez highlights some things you can do to help keep your mind undistracted during family time, on this episode, so be sure you take the time to listen.

Would you like to know how to package and present yourself or your offer to generate more leads, more sales, and more profits?

On this episode of Growth to Freedom that’s exactly what I’m going to show you. Once you see how simple it is, you’re going to be surprised that more people, including you, haven’t been doing this all along. It’s not a difficult process - it only takes 15 minutes of brainstorming with a pencil and paper - but it will yield long term results if you take it seriously and do the work.

The process I’m going to describe today begins with a series of simple questions that reveal the danger, needs, and desires of your ideal client.

These questions are designed to get you inside the head of that ideal client, the one who needs exactly what it is you have to offer. When you’re able to understand what they think about the problems, pains, and passions that drive them toward a solution like the one you offer, you’ll begin to see exactly what you need to say, how you need to approach them, and what you need to offer to generate the sale.

Today’s show will give you a road map that shows you the steps: How to position yourself and your product or service, how to communicate the value you offer, how to phrase your call to action, how to overcome objections, and how to ask for and get the sale.

What if I told you that I’ve got a guaranteed way for you to lead and grow rich?

That’s the kind of statement that makes your skeptic radar go on full alert, doesn’t it? I’m going to tell you how to do exactly that in this episode. It’s not hype. It’s not wishful thinking. It’s not the typical goal-setting and productivity approach that you normally hear.

It’s all about “state”. It’s about knowing how to determine and regulate your own internal state of being and how to be a “state inducer” for others. Even if you only take one of the principles covered in this episode, you’re going to see a way to have a bigger impact, significance, and contribution.

What do I mean by determining your “state?”

We all have an internal state of being, a default attitude or mindset. It’s what dictates the way we live, the things we do, and how we handle the situations and challenges that life throws at us. And The great news is that no one gets to determine what that inner state is.

How will your life and business be impacted by A.I., Virtual Reality, Robotics, 3D Printing, Drone Technology, BlockChain, and Crowdsourcing?

Having spent 4 days at “Abundance 360,” (hosted by futurist, Genius Network Member, and co-founder of XPrize and Singularity University, Peter Diamandis) it was inspirational and certainly opened up my eyes to all kinds of opportunities for the future… It was a cross between Star Trek, Back to the Future, and I-Robot (the movie)....

Here are some of the highlights you can use and apply today:

Mindset: We talk a lot about the importance of mindset on the Growth to Freedom show, and in particular how to develop an “abundance mindset.” If you’re going to make the most of the powerful changes in technology, you’ve got to be able to foster and feed an abundant mindset.

Exponential technology: Embracing the changes that are coming to the tech space can enable you to be on the cutting edge of the changes that impact your industry and your life. You’ve got to learn to think beyond what’s possible today to see what might be possible in the very near future so that you can position your business for its greatest success.

Where are you today compared to where you were 5 years ago?

In today’s episode of Growth to Freedom I’m on a solo rant of sorts. Why am I ranting? Because I’m lovingly, with all the passion I can muster, trying to communicate some very important concepts that could literally TRANSFORM your life. Honestly, these things are that important. Getting 10X growth is not as hard as you’ve been led to believe.

People seem to think that in order to truly grow you’ve got to get some kind of expensive, specialized education or go to some high dollar seminar taught by a guru. But I’m here to tell you that it’s not the case. In fact, on this episode I’m going to tell you exactly, step by step, how you can integrate a few, very small habits into your life that will make a compounding difference in you as a person, and your business and relationships as a result.
